At Westbourne Primary School we expect our children to have daily access to ICT. That is why we invest in the very best technology for them to use across all of their English and maths lessons. Children regularly use technology to enhance their learning for all areas of the curriculum.
The new national curriculum expects children to become competent with various computer science aspects by the time they leave primary school. We use various approaches and programs to give children access to this curriculum. Our children are becoming confident, competent coders who are learning to write simple computer programs and test them.
You can view the Westbourne Primary School long-term plan for ICT software below. This document lays out what software children will be expected to use in each year group at Westbourne Primary School.
