School Uniform

At Westbourne we believe that a school uniform gives a sense of belonging and
pride in the school whilst ensuring equality amongst students.  In addition, a smart appearance contributes positively to the students’ attitude to work and study; it also significantly influences how the school is portrayed to the general public.

School uniform can be purchased through our supplier:

‘The Uniform Shop’ 54 Darley Street, Bradford BD1 3HN

Please visit their website for further information via www.theuniformshoponline.co.uk

Non branded uniform can be obtained cheapest from a number of local supermarkets and retailers.
Second hand uniform can often be purchased during our termly fairs. Further details can be obtained from the school office.

The school uniform consists of a burgundy school jumper/sweatshirt or cardigan with the school logo on, together with a white shirt (either cotton or polo).  Children can wear grey trousers or a grey skirt.  If your child prefers to wear a head scarf, only a plain coloured black, white or grey should be worn.

During the wonderfully warm summer days children are allowed to wear thin red and white checked (gingham) dresses with white leggings/trousers.  Children may also wear grey uniform shorts with a white short sleeved cotton/polo shirt to keep them cool.  Children may however continue to wear their usual Westbourne uniforms if they prefer.

A Westbourne reading book bag is available for purchase from the school office.
